These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Global Bound LLC ("Global Bound LLC," "Global Bound," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Global Bound app and website at globalbound.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Global Bound is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking tool for people who live and travel across borders, including multi-currency logging, budgets, savings goals, trip tracking, and reports. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use the Service.
Except where required by law, payments are generally non-refundable, in part because a free 14-day trial is provided before any charge. Because Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record, their refund terms may also apply. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at newlifealbania@gmail.com and we will try to help.
Global Bound is a budgeting and organizational tool only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied on as such. Currency conversions, totals, budgets, and any figures or suggestions are for informational and organizational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Please consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Exchange rates are provided by a third-party source and shown for convenience. They may be delayed, approximate, or occasionally unavailable, and may differ from the rate your bank or card actually applies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any rates, calculations, or data in the Service. You are responsible for verifying important figures.
You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service. We provide export tools, and we encourage you to keep your own backups (Settings → Your data). We take reasonable measures to protect your data but are not liable for any loss of data.
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to breach security, access other users' data, or disrupt the Service; reverse-engineer or copy the Service except as allowed by law; or resell or misrepresent the Service.
The Service, including the Global Bound name, logo, design, and software, is owned by Global Bound LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content except the limited right to use the Service.
The Service relies on third parties (for example, Supabase for hosting and authentication, Lemon Squeezy for payments, and an exchange-rate provider). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBAL BOUND LLC AND ITS OWNER(S) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Bound LLC and its owner(s) from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will update the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. (This reflects our intended place of formation and may be updated as our business is finalized.)
